Casting on within a Pattern?
Hello!
I am wanting to start the Wave Hand Warmers pattern in the book One Skein Wonders, but both my mom and I are confused about one part of the pattern.
In the "Forming the Thumb Hole" Section it says to bind off 4 stitches in one row (ok..I get that), and then to cast on 4 stitches in the next row (???).
How do you cast on within a pattern?

Here's the exact pattern, if that helps:
NEXT ROW: P2, K4, P2, bind off 4, *P2, K4, repeat from *
NEXT ROW: P2, K4, P2, Cast On 4 (???), *P2, K4; repeat from *

Thanks for any help!
