Rache, CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Gina, I'm so glad the bathroom is almost done! How nice that they apologized!

Christine, anytime you're in Texas, you're welcome to come soak in my tub. I hope you're feeling better!

Julie, congrats on doing so well in your class!

Everyone else, HI!

I've been really busy still... looks like it may be a permanent condition. I miss getting on here every day! I'm finally almost done with my socks... I cast them on in OCTOBER! Of course, in between knitting on them I also did Christmas stockings, 10 cup cozies, and various other things... I have about 1/2" of ribbing then they'll be ready to bind off. They're for my best friend Karen, and she is so excited about them! It's so nice to knit for someone who appreciates it.

Hi
Hey Socksters,

Carey ~ Congrats on the weight loss. I really need to get motivated to lose some.

Julie ~ beautiful scarf! I like 24" circulars the 16" are just too short in my hands.

CivicSista ~ You know that work/school thing really gets in the way of quality knitting time!!

knit2btied ~ I've touched malabrigo but didn't buy any.

Gina ~ Nice hat! Yay for a new dishwasher!

Daiquiri ~ We actually have sunshine today but it is only 18 w/windchill of 8. We had so many days of fog that its really nice to see the sun.

Christine ~ Hugs and hope you feel better soon!

jess_hawk ~ Glad you got your bed but I feel your disappointment... expecting one thing and getting something completely different. I want a king size bed but DH doesn't. We always have at least one westie with us (& sometimes 2) just not enough room to move.

Rachel ~ Congratulations!!!

Dustina ~ How've you been? Still enjoying the new house?

I just wanted to share what I've been working on. It is for the Mother Bear Project. Yes I still have 2 pairs of socks on the needles but right now I'm having fun with this.

Hi everyone!

Hope you're all doing well. It's chilly here today and I'm tired from working, but I have exciting news....WE BOUGHT A HOUSE! It happened last week and I didn't want to tell you until the whole thing went through. We get it on Fenruary 22nd and we're very excited. It's a 1948 one and a half storey house with beautiful hardwood floors and cute original features. It needs a new roof and a new furnace, but we're prepared to take that on.

Hi Julie, Christine, Dustina, Chris, Carey, Rachel, Jess, Gina, Sue, Jackie....et. al!

I will post house pictures soon!

Ann that's so cool!!!!! I can't wait to see pictures! O what fun for you 2.

The kids have a 2 hour delay here because of icy roads, so we're taking it easy this morning. I purchased a Namaste 'Buddy' from the loopyewe.com on the 26th and got it yesterday! I love it! all of you need one of these, it's perfect for carrying your notions with you where ever you go. Think I might have to get one of their bags sometime too.

the top side is magnetic, then the little pink thing on the left seperates the 2 compartments and the other side isn't magnetic. but it works perfect! I love it, I got the color peacock.
