What is oddball knitting?
I've never heard this term before. Please explain.

Thanks.

If you read through the rest of the charity knitting links, you'll understand it better. We make "Oddball Blankets" for charity. We take turns knitting sections of the blankets, using different yarns from our stash. That's why they are called "oddball" blankets. Different colors, different stitch patterns.

Here's an example of one of our baby blankets that we make for hospitals all over the US and Canada. We named this blanket the "Autumn Blanket", and asked the knitters to use autumn shades of yarn from their stash.

Does that mean the blanket is sent around to participants to add to? That's a neat idea.

If so, that's probably not a good thing for me. I only knit when I feel like it, and if it's a tossup between a good book and my knitting needles, the book usually wins out - lol.
