Here is a picture of Boots on his 2nd birthday! We went to the PetSmart and gave him an afternoon at the Doggie Spa. He came home smelling wonderful, his fur nice and soft and they deshedded him so he is not loosing his fur all over everywhere. They cleaned his ears and trimmed his nails. He is sooooooo spoiled!

Added: Nope it still doesn`t work, although at least this way you can go outside the site and see the picture for yourselves. What the heck am I doing wrong???

Well Christine I have no idea what you're doing? when you clicked copy you had your mouse on the picture right? in fb you should have the picture opened for viewing and then put the mouse pointer on the picture and right click, then left click on copy. THen come to the kal and in the msg box you can either put your cursor in the box or the mouse pointer in the msg box and right click again and left click paste, or you can use the ctrl & v (at the same time) to paste it here.

Christine, sorry your grandson was being such a brat. You (and others) are right, he sounds like he's feeling rather ignored, and he definitely isn't getting talked to enough or enough encouragment to read! Unfortunately in my experience that is all too common an issue with children today, even kids my age!
As for his hitting and biting, I know there's a huge thing against it currently, but my parents would have smacked my butt so hard for that! All too many people have decided that discipline is equivalent to abuse... which it is NOT, in fact quite the opposite. I think you handled the situation well, although you shouldn't have had too, your DIL should have handled it for you.
Love the pictures anyway, and I'm glad you got to meet your new grandson!
Got some new sock yarn today to try again on Skew. This is a much bigger ball, although the yarn isn't as nice or as pretty. It's Best Foot Forward in Plum Harvest.

Hi, all! Wow, I didn't realize I had been away for so long, but it's taken me forever to catch up on all the reading!

Gina, how are you doing? I'm glad the procedure went well and I hope you're feeling better!

Christine, love the photos of Boots and new grandbaby! I think you handled GS1 just fine, though as others have said, you shouldn't have to. There is some misbehavior that should be ignored by people who aren't the child's parent. However, physical abuse is not something to ignore! If the parent isn't going to handle it, then you are left to deal with it in your own way. I think you did great.

Melanie, welcome!

Sorry, I don't have time for more personals right now, I need to get back to work. I hope you all are doing well! I have missed reading and posting over here! Life has gotten a little overwhelming lately, but I'm hanging in there.

Julie, I'm on my butt! Bored, but sitting! 80 isn't bad. You'll have more time to study next time. Start now! You know everything you're learning you'll have a test on!

Christine, I'm watching TV. No heavy lifting. I'm not taking the pain drugs any more, though, so I'm more bored! At least the drugs made me not care! YAY on knitting! Boots is a lucky pooch!

Emily, can't wait to see Skew! Such a cool pattern!

Carey, good to hear from you! Is it work or family that's overwhelming? Or both and more?

Dustina, another snow day? You should just head south for a break now, since there's no school and spring break will be canceled!

I'm tutoring for two hours this afternoon. That will be a good change of pace that requires no physical effort.
