OT: electronic cigarettes
Many moons ago, there was a topic started on the useage of e-cigs as an alternative to those who knit and smoke (or knit and live with a smoker, or whatever).

I was just wondering how it was going, how people liked them, and some feedback on the two different kinds of ecigs that are being carried by my local merchants. Neither is one that I'd heard of before, but they are less expensive than the Crown 7's and Greensmokes.

So, those who have tried vaping, how do you like it, are you still using it, and have you had any problems from it?

I gave them a try and the technology is simply not reliable, at least not yet.

The batteries go bad fairly quickly and the atomizers can fail suddenly for no reason. Add to that the cost and they're simply not a good way to go as far as I am concerned.

Perhaps in time the technology will improve.

What do you mean guys don't knit?

Linux: because a PC is a terrible thing to waste.

Perfection is overrated. Knitting is meant to relieve stress, not cause it. Relax and enjoy it.

I couldn't trust putting untested goods from China in my body.

My batteries have got really finicky after sitting around unused for a long time.
Petroleum based knitter, removing that nasty oil from the ground one skein at a time.

I thought there were some gals that were going to try this, too. Could you chime in as well? If you want to pm me instead of posting here, that's fine.
