Truckers take up quilting & knitting
This article was in the Wall Street Journal this morning. Guess truckers have more time on their hands. And are taking up quilting & knitting.

http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000...857438962.html

Welcome all truckers.

My dad is a retired truck driver, I forwarded him the article. He will find it interesting.

I spent about a year driving, back when you often had a load planned to take before the last one was dropped. Saw quite a few guys with different handcrafts, even crocheting and knitting. In Pennsylvania there is (was) a truck stop that had a large room full of yarn, needles and patterns for exchange.

I read that same article. It's about time some of the other truckers started talking about their craft hobbies. Many of us have been doing it a long time, but most just wouldn't admit to it for one silly reason or another.

Perfection is overrated. Knitting is meant to relieve stress, not cause it. Relax and enjoy it.
