Just go with whatever you feel will compliment the blanket. It can be for either boy or girl. Have fun with it

I think that Kae is waiting for Spearmint Candy to arrive, you might want to send her a PM. Thanks!

New Blanket - Baby Sparkler
I've started another blanket for us to work on. I've named it Baby Sparkler. I used a sport weight pompador yarn. We need five more knitters and a border person. Sign-ups are open.

Hokey Pokey
Here is a picture of Hokey Pokey. I used Red Heart yarn. The pattern is called Diagonal Rib. This is one rib pattern that does not pull in. I found it on Knitting on the net. I knit 4 rows, then did 3 repeats of the pattern and finished with 4 rows of knit. I had to increase two stitches in the garter stitch rows to have the multiples come out right. Because I did the increases I also did two decreases in the last 4 knit rows to make the blanket 100 stitches wide.

I feel like such a dummy. I got the large green envelope that you sent Hokey Pokey to me in. Today I took out the plastic bag and that is when I saw the other plastic bag. I want to thank you for the lovely wash cloth that you sent to me. It is so nice, and will be put to good use. Sorry it took me so long to acknowledge your gift. Dottie

So fun to see a picture of this blanket - it's the first since the one I took of the first section. It's turning out so lovely!

I should have Key Lime Pie ready to send out in a day or so (if you can please see if next knitter is ready and send info) and then I'll start on Frogs and Snails!
