Retail Business

Please give me any advice or info about owning / operating a retail yarn shop. I will be able to leave education in about 4 years and am considering opening a small shop, but have lots of questions. Start up costs, inventory, employees, taxes, vendors, insurance, etc. If you know of a helpful website about small business I would appreciate that as well.
