A while back I built this little app that lets you choose a ravelry icon, enter a rav username and it generates the signature code that you can just copy and paste. I just dusted it off again and got it working:

Never mind I fixed it. After you click insert picture into signature highlight the both of the sigpic tags (the words, there won't be a picture) and then click the symbol to add a link.
That link doesn't work anymore. It says it requires Ruby on Rails or something. Is there another way?

Reason: Figured it out :)
I can get the picture in my signature, but you can't click on it.

I followed Jan in CA's directions (*more or less, maybe) and it seems to have worked for me.
*Note: I ran into the 500 character limit so ended up editing my signature with Microsoft Word and then manually fixing the codes.
Jan's method:
1) find icon on Ravelry page. [right] click and save [image] to your own computer.
2) Edit your signature here and add the image from your computer.
3) Select the image code and then click the "link icon" (globe with link of a chain ~ get it?) and paste in your Ravelry link URL.
Preview or save signature.
