can i use circ instead of dpn for toys
For making stuffed toys, instead of splitting stitches between 3 dpns can I use 1 circ? I know how to use both but i find circ knitting so dang easy. Would that require any mods to the number of stiches for simple toys?

Sure you can, you'll have to have a longer needle to do Magic loop with. You don't need to change sts, one method of working in the round is about the same as another.

Thanks for the info, I'll have to watch the magic loop vid as I haven't actually done it yet and see how it goes.

the magic loop is the best way of working smaller diameter circular knitting without dpn (I myself prefer dpn, really, but that is personal preference).
But if your stuff is larger (with toys it could be anything, I guess), you may want to check out working in the round on 2 circular needles. Maybe that is another way you want to try.
