Help reading this Harry Potter Pattern
Hey all! Semi new knitter here. I am just graduating up from scarves and need a little help lol

So I am going to make this pink beret and just need some clarification on the pattern

http://dontcallmedora7.livejournal.com/3480.html

K1, INC, around until last 2, K2 (122 sts)

So the increase in this round I can do anyway I want since it does not specify correct? Is there one that is more better to use?

S1, K2tog, psso, K1, P2, K2, P2, K2, rep from * around to last repeat of this pattern. Instead of slipping a st and K2tog, knit/purl to the end (should be 2 extra sts)

on the last repeat I am just alternating between Knit and Purl to the end??

row 2 and every alternating round to end)-K/P in pattern

and this row and every other I am doing 1 by 1 ribbing????

Sorry, I just want to make sure I am going to do this right and understand it correctly before I attempt it lol
