Please Help with Embossed Diamonds Afghan

I have not knitted in a while and I can't remember how to figure out how many stitches I need to cast on to do my swatch. Here are the pattern instructions:
Pattern InstructionsMy gauge: two motifs=5.75″ across, unstretched. 10 st per motif plus 1, plus four ribbing stitches each edge of the afghan.Yarn: I used a cashmere/superfine lambswool yarn I’d six-plied from cones to make a yarn on the heavy side of aran weight. Swatch with your own yarn to get the right fit between yarn and needles.
This, I'm sure is an easy one, but I'm drawing a blank. I tried this a few different ways but each time I end up with not enough stitches. Here is a link to the pattern as well.

It says right here "two motifs=5.75″ across, unstretched. 10 st per motif plus 1, plus four ribbing stitches each edge of the afghan" - so I would CO 29 sts, 4 for each edge and 21 for the motifs.

Okay, Thank you Suzeeq. I should have mentioned that I already tried that, so the problem for me, must be somewhere in understanding the instructions. I think I got it. Thank you so much
