Will this yarn work for this pattern?

I have 11 hanks of Araucania Limari yarn (bulky) and I was thinking of making the Cable Wrap and Hat I got the pattern from LionBrand

I know I'll have to make a swatch to check Gauge. But I was wondering if there was anyone familiar with this yarn and if it would work with this pattern?

What yarn does the original pattern use? If it's a bulky weight then it should substitute okay.

It looks like the yarn that this pattern calls for is Bulky

Actually, I think the Hometown is a super bulky, but your yarn should still work out. The wrap may come out just a touch narrower, but not by much. If the hat seems too small, add 4 sts for the ribbing and use those extra sts in the p2 sections of the cable pattern, making them p3.
