e cast on with plymouth poppin yarn?
I am having trouble with the cast on using this yarn. i know it has to be an e cast on

Why does it have to be that CO? You can use any of them, the type of yarn doesn't make a difference. Unless its just a couple of stitches, the e or loop CO is hard to knit into and always leaves extra yarn as you knit across the first row.

I agree with Sue. I hate that cast on and never use it other than for a few stitches in the middle of knitting, but sometimes not even then.

I used to use it for bridging the thumb-hole on gloves. But since I know better now and I hate that extra yarn that cast on is history for me.
Why or for what project does it have to be the e-cast-on /loop cast on?

What in the world IS the e cast on?

...nevermind...just found it. It's the first one I ever learned.
