Does anyone know what "work 1 row without shaping means" ? Each row, I am decreasing then after each next row of instructiions it says that. ??????????????? help please!!!!
It means don't do the decs. Sometimes this will also be written as 'work even' which means keep to the stitch pattern with no decs (or incs if that's what came before).
so if I was using the sockinette stitch before, then just resume that ofr continue with the same stitch I was using for the decrease? Thank you so much for the help. I am so excited about getting back to my knitting again.
Yes, do the first decrease row however it tells you to, then do a row of stockinette with no fancy business then do another decrease row using the same decrease you did the first time. Keep alternating those.
