I think you mean my pattern? Thanks. My husband loves this hat and wears it all the time.
I prefer to knit my hats in the round. Much more smooth and no seam.
Suzee did the math for you. So you should be all set, right?
If the size turns a little large or small you can change that by changing the needle size (up for bigger stitches = bigger hat, down for smaller stitches = smaller hat). It is also common to do the ribbing in a smaller needle size than the rest of a piece (not just hats) to make it tighter without changing the stitch count a lot. Just to keep in mind!
