I'm making a mini dishcloth keepsake using Sandy's chart. I took the chart, added 4 stitches either side and am working a moss stitch border around it. Thought it would go nicely with some of the cloths I've done in previous years.
I'm not too confident with colourwork but I'm hoping practice will solve that so I'm plowing on regardless using scraps of mystery yarn I found.

I went out and bought myself a Mocha Blast at Dunkin Donuts tonight, so I could use it to toast in 2011 here at the party, with the new cozy wrapped around it.
I managed to put the cozy on it, but that Blast is EMPTY already! I guess I'll be toasting in the new year with an empty cup.

This is such a fun idea! When I first began learning to knit just over a year ago, this was the first website I came to and it helped me learn so much. Thanks!

Enter to win the KnittingHelp.com iPhone App!
Hey Everyone,
Happy (almost) New Year, at least for those of us on this side of the pond. I just wanted to let you know that in addition to Shandeh's fabulous prizes tonight, Amy and I are also giving away two copies of the KnittingHelp.com iPhone app. I am running the contest on Facebook so those who have iPhones, iPods, and iPads can join. To join, just find the Facebook status post where we mention the contest (currently the top post, but it might get bumped down) and post a comment. Shandeh, or rather her hubby, will randomly select the winners and she'll post their names. Here's the facebook link:
http://www.facebook.com/knittinghelp
And you can read about the app here:
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/knitt...ign-mpt=uo%3D4
We released it earlier this month and it has been very well received by knitters. So much so that we are currently working on an Android version due out next month.
Best of luck to those who enter!
Sheldon

Woo Hoo! A SURPRIZE prize!!!
Thanks Sheldon!!
Gosh, I wish I could enter that contest. But, then I would have to go out and buy an iPhone.
If any of you already have an iPhone or an iPad, be sure to go over to Knitting Help's Facebook page to enter the drawing.
