FO: Rodney the Rooster dishcloth

I started this yesterday and finished it today. I probably could've finished it faster, but we were working on laundry yesterday. I'm pretty proud of the way it turned out. I made it for my Mom's birthday.

Ha! Cool! You've got me wanting to try a dishcloth now. Do you just make 'em with cotton? I'd be scared of unraveling!

Yeah, you just make it with cotton. I've crocheted them before, and I use them as to wash dishes and such. I've been using them for about 9 months now, and now of them have unraveled yet. I don't know if it's different with knit ones though. This is the first dishcloth that I've ever knitted. I'm hoping that it won't unravel, though. But, if it does, it's easy enough to make a new one. It only took me a day to make.

Okay I'm sold. I'll try making one later. I've got tons of cotton to get rid of! (It's so hard to knit with though! grr)

nah, it wasn't hard at all. No charts, just a pattern. The hardest stitches in there were the backcross and front cross. Here's the pattern.
