Afterthought YarnOver
this is completely confunding me

i came upon this term when looking up various increases in knitting, and all i wanted to add it to my collection of photo walkthroughs i have gathered over time (mainly 6 yrs) but all i can find are video walkthroughs.

does anyone know where i can find a photo walkthrough of this particular yo increase?

please help

NOTE: I CANNOT SEEM TO CHANGE THE TITLE OF THE POST BUT IT'S ACTUALLY CALLED AN 'ALTERNATE YARNOVER'

I've never heard of an 'alternate' yo; there's an afterthought yo where you lift the yarn between 2 sts from the previous row, like a m1 only you don't knit the st tbl. Can you post a link to the video?

this is the descrip i have for it
Afterthought Yarnover
This increase creates a hole in the knitting, similar to the Yarn Over, but smaller.

Okay, I don't know about them being called alternate YOs though, but you just add a YO as you Cast on, same as Jen's surprisingly stretchy BO where you put in a yo between sts to make it stretchy. The voice in the 2nd video sounds like oftroy and she has a blog with a bunch of cast ons, it may be there, look through the different parts of the CO tutorial.
