Flat sweaters
So ok how do you design sweaters flat? It would be really great if you post a link thankyou

There are tons of patterns for sweaters that are knit flat in pieces and sewn together. Before you can design one, it's a good idea to knit one from a pattern first and you can see how it's constructed.

A simple one though is to make 2 squares for the body, going by measurements, then sew the shoulders together and either pick up sts around the armholes for the sleeve and knit to the wrist, or work the sleeves separately (either as a rectangle or tapered) and sew them on.
