This is a super little video for the Fair Isle technique from Philosopher's Wool. They also have lots of other reference material but this actually gives a great overview. And a real plus is that this is a method that weaves in all the "floats" (or elongated stitches) on the back that comes from shifting colors. The back is as neat and beautiful as the front in most cases.
This is the one that really got me started and then one of the gals on the forum, Hyperactive, did a couple of great videos as well. I'm sure she'd share them with you if you'd like. She is a SUPER fair isle knitter!
