FO: Bunny Blanket Buddy - New pics

I started/finished this today. My fastest project yet and quite enjoyable. I still have a few finishing touches, like tying pink ribbon around the ears and threading it through the neck. I'll post those later. I messed up somewhere at the first ear and the opening for the head was stitched closed...I could have ripped back but was happy with how it looked so decided to leave it. I am going to make a blue one for another expectant mother and maybe I'll stuff the head properly on that one.

Really cute! I clicked over to Ravelry...and read up on it. It seems to be a toy, right? A cuddly, blankie toy? Am I understanding it right? Anyways, it's adorable!

Artlady, yes, it's a "comfort" toy. Not really sure why it's called a blanket though. I love it and really enjoy knitting it. I am almost done with a second one, in blue this time for another co-worker that is due soon.

I made the blue one last night. Finished the trim on both tonight. Cute little things.

So cute! I have done many of these, and while I am doing the head I always check to make sure I haven't made a mistake with the double-knitting. I love that there is almost no final finishing work.

I think they are called "blanket" buddy because some kids (mine included) drag around a blanket and this maybe takes the place of the blanket. Or so one would hope.
