[Continue in ribbing, work 8 sts;
turn and work 4 rows over these 8 sts; cut yarn and ect. ect.
Not to worry. It means do 8 sts. of your ribbing, then turn (as if you've reached the end of a row)and continue working those same 8 sts. in the same pattern (turning after every 8 sts.)for 4 rows.
I'll guarantee you'll do that at least one more time in the pattern. These are the smaller parts that will circle the upper part of your dog's 2 front legs.
Later on, the fancy term for turning before you get to the end of the row is "short rows". I can't resist - what better than short rows for a Chihuahua?

Go ahead and try it. It'll work. Jean
