The pattern description reads: "This cozy knitted scarf features fringe ends and a stretchy body. Lightweight." It's 6.5" wide and 82" long.

A knitted scarf that looks like it could be brioche stitch or maybe some version of that..

To me, it looks like 'Mistake Rib' stitch. Here's a photo (and instructions) for a Mistake Rib scarf similar to the one in your link.

Yeah, it could be sort of a mistake rib, I don't think it's brioche/fisherman's rib. Look up the pattern for 'scrunchable scarf' or yarn harlet's one row rib scarf.
