Pattern help?
Hi everyone!

This is my first post on this forum -- I'm desperate for advice on how to recreate this beautiful bag!

http://img2.etsystatic.com/il_570xN.270430354.jpg

I'm not a very experienced knitter, but I've been trying on and off for years. I was looking for a new bag tonight and came across this beautiful knitted shoulder bag.

How hard would it be to recreate this look? And what kind of pattern would I need? If anyone could link me to a pattern that resembles this, I'd be so happy!

Hopefully it wouldn't be too complicated, especially *without* the zig zag design. But any advice would be greatly appreciated.

(oops, I think I posted this in the wrong thread. )

It looks like you could just make the bottom (which looks like garter?) the size you want then pick up stitches around the bottom, join, and knit in the round ending with ribbing. Then attach handles.

I found one that is similar. I don't think it has the flat bottom on it though.
