That sounds awesome, Elizabeth!

Who else would like to work on Green Pastures?

It should be there soon, Susan -- sorry it took so long to get it to you! I was so surprised when I saw it in my knitting basket when I thought it had already been sent out. I did take a picture of it and I should try to remember to post that too.

I think Starry Night is a fine name, but we can see if anyone else has some ideas. Do you have a color scheme in mind to start?

CivicSista seems to be MIA and glowyne has been holding onto Flower Path for the last month. I haven't finished a blanket yet, so I asked her to send it to me. (I hope you all don't mind that I swooped in on it without offering it up to the group first.)

It arrived today and it is very pretty -- I know just the colors I want to use on it!

I took a stab at Jungle Fever and finished a whole row! LOL It looks better than I expected. DD has dance tomorrow and I've gotten to where I'm comfortable with knitting while chatting with the other moms, so I'm planning to work on it for the 90 minutes that we're there.

Starry Night sounds like a great name. I can see different blues with gold, yellow or white yarns for stars. Like the Van Gogh painting shown here:

Thanks! That is a great idea! I was going to start in with a navy blue and yellow. The colors you mentioned would be good.It was along the lines I was thinking. The picture makes it all come together!

Awesome!

It looks like I have:

Green Pastures:
1. bugsyblacklab
2. susauehl

And we'll start signups for Starry Night as well (and I confess I thought of the Van Gogh series too so was wondering if that would be the inspiration for it.)

Anyone else want to sign up?

Also Starry Night reminds of the song by Don McLean.
