Help for a new knitter with a pattern instruction

I am trying to knit an acrylic blanket for my daughter because she won't sleep without one since grand-ma did knit her first one.

It is very simple except for one direction that I can't figure out or find online with google.

It says : K5, * yo ; K3, pass the first of the the 3 knit sts over the 2nd and 3rd sts - 3CR (crossed sts) made ; and then repeat from * to last 3 sts ; K3.

I have problems with : K3, pass the first of the the 3 knit sts over the 2nd and 3rd sts - 3CR (crossed sts) made

Do this the same as when you BO a stitch except that you're moving it over 2 sts instead of 1. You knit 3 sts which are now on the R needle; lift the 3rd st from the end over the other 2 and you've crossed it over.
