Are you talking about my first sweater? I love it too! I wear it more than all the other ones, and it has held up VERY well over the years. I made it with very cheap cotton, because I was afraid to use nice yarn for my first sweater. I was able to relax while working on it, because it wasn't a huge investment of money.

It takes me FOREVER to knit sweaters for myself, because I'm plus-sized. But, I just stick with it, and keep going. Eventually, it comes to an end, and I'm so proud!

I saw this knitting t-shirt on a website and I'm going to buy it for myself. I swear, I'm always reminding my husband that in the event of a catastrophic event, I have a very valuable skill in that I can knit us something to keep us warm and/or covered.

Of course, he answers by telling me that dishcloths aren't really going to do us any good.

I love this! It's a long running joke in our family about who will do what after the apocalypse (or zombie takeover, whichever comes first) and knitting, sewing, and baking are the skills that keeps me alive in the family militia
