If anyone is familiar with the study results that were released in 2009 showing the FIRST vaccine to be effective, we were involved in that!
Oh that sound fascinating! One of my daughters got her undergrad degree in molecular biology. She worked in a lab for several years, but nothing so interesting. She decided she wanted to do something else so she got a graduate degree in public policy. Now she works at the National Science Foundation in DC. Guess she can use both degrees there to a certain extent. Maybe she helped give you guys some money at one time? I don't think she's the final word on that though.

It's possible! We are very lucky that our program is productive and successful, so we get funding from many sources.

I really love my job. All I ever wanted was to have my own little bench in a lab and just do science. If only the commute wasn't so miserable! I also work in the DC area and live further south in VA. My 42.6 miles can be 42 minutes or over 2 hours depending on the day of the week, the time of the year, and the number of non-driving crazies on the roads.
