Provence Beret
I'm having a little trouble with this lace hat pattern:

Lace Pattern: (multiple of 8 sts)
Rnd 1: *Yo, k1-tbl, yo, ssk, k5; rep from * around-multiple of 9 sts.
Rnd 2: *K3, ssk, k4; rep from * around-multiple of 8 sts.
Rnd 3: *Yo, k1-tbl, yo, k2, ssk, k3; rep from * around-multiple of 9 sts.
Rnd 4: *K5, ssk, k2; rep from * around-multiple of 8 sts.

I started with 112 sts, and k1, p1 rib for 1" then started the lace. When I have a YO at the beginning of a round, it throws me off, and I'm not coming up with a multiple of 9 sts. Do I move my marker to the yo, and count that as my first stitch?

What am I doing wrong?

The marker might be slipping under the YO, you might try a larger one. And the YO is the first stitch. You do end up with 9 sts at the ends of rounds 1 and 3, then there's a dec on rounds 2 and 4 that take the sts in the repeat back to 8. the yo doesn't use a stitch, it's just a wrap around the needle, then you do the k1tbl or the k2 or dec.

I ripped out the lace rows & started over. Then, I moved my stitch marker, and everything worked out right! I'm excited to finish it now, but I'm at work. That work thing gets in the way of my knitting!
Thanks for your help!
