help with babydrops 1 - 8 jacket pattern

I have been knitting since i was 5 yrs old ( 45 yrs now) and this has really got me.
I have done the hem fine as worked out that the last k2 is infact k2tog!!!!
I am doing the 140 sts size which after decreases leaves me 132

The Lace pattern: is Worked over 13 sts.
1st row and all WS rows: K2, P sts until 2 sts remain, K2.

2nd row: S1, K3, yo, K5, yo, K2tog, yo, K2. ( does not add up at the end) I ended up with loads more stitches, I agree sometimes this is the case and they are decreased again in the next row but here they are not. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr I am presuming that S1 is ( Slip 1)

Then I looked at this row and WOW

4th row: S1, K4, S1, K2tog, psso, K2, (yo, K2tog) – repeat twice, K1. (where does the 13 end?)
The : S1, K4, S1, K2tog, psso, K2, (yo, K2tog) – repeat twice, K1. ( this makes 14 sts or 15 if you count the k1 at the end)

6th row: S1, K3, S1, K1, psso, K2, (yo, K2tog) – repeat twice, K1. (where does the 13 end?)

Can anyone help it is for my first grandchild and I hate giving up.

Okay, I think I found it - this one.

Row 2 - S1, K3, yo, K5, yo, K2tog, yo, K2 - does add up to 13 sts used, and you'll have 15 sts when you finish the row, but row 4 has a double decrease which gets rid of the extra 2 sts and you end with 13. Row 6 starts with 13 and ends up with 11. Don't worry about the changing st numbers too much, though you might want to put st markers every 13 sts on row 2 to show the repeat. Just know that the numbers will change.
