I am fairly new to crochet and I just finished my first blanket. It's a basic granny square blanket.
It took me a couple months, and it turned out perfectly. It's soft, it's warm, it's great for Canadian winter.
And I've already started another one!

Well done! I also like the view you've given us of the snowy field through the picture windows. We can see the need for a warm blanket, no doubt about it!
