Is a dec 2 the same as a K2tog?
Brand new knitter and am loving it! But some of the terminology has me stumped. I would like to knit a beginner baby blanket pattern shown in the Red Heart website called Precious Baby Blanket. On one pattern line its says to: {K1, P1} 3 times,* K1, yo, K4, dec 2, K4, yo.....etc.
Is the "dec 2" the same as K2tog? Or should I be using some other kind of decrease?
Thanks for the help.
