New knitter, not sure what to do next

I have been knitting since christmas of 2012. This is my first time knitting something a little harder. I am making a baby blanket for my soon to come brother. After I had just finished increasing a row, I looked at my pattern and i don't understand what it says next.

"k6 *(k1. p1. k1) in next st. Sl1. k2tog. Psso. Rep from * to last 6 sts. K6" is what it says for the next row.

I kinda understand some of it, But not all.


I also go to an open knit on thursdays and ask questions, but i've only been to twice. And i usually forget to go.

Any ideas on what to do?
