Circular needles

I own all the interchangeables from Knitpicks, plus a whole set of 16 inch regular circs from knitpicks. I don't find the tightening so hard, just use the little "wrench" that comes with it and just tighten it as tight as you can get with it. One thing I have had multiple issues with knitpicks circs about is the cord coming out of the needle or in the case of the interchangeables, they have come out of the little screw part. I have had them replace at least 4 and I have two more right now that have worked partway out. This is some kind of manufacturing error I think as I don't pull on them or put stress on them in any way for this to happen.
