In search of a little purse pattern!!!
My *almost* 6 year old has requested that I knit her a little purse for her birthday. It needs to be free and SUPER girly. I'm having trouble finding one. I'll be using Caron Simply soft, though I imagine that guage wouldn't be super important for something like this. Can anyone help???

There is a really sweet ( maybe too grown up purse) in the new edition of "your Knitting Life" Magazine (formerly- knitting today)

The nice thing about Ravelry is that you can filter your results on the left side of the screen. You can input the type of yarn you want to use and it will only give you patterns for that weight. Another place you might want to go is Youtube. They have Knit Along and Crochet Along projects that you can do right along with the video teacher. They give you the pattern right there. Sometimes written instructions are at the bottom of the screen, on their website which is listed, or you can keep pausing the tape and just write them down yourself to refer to.

I'm on a crochet kick lately, so Youtube projects I've done lately have been: baby hats, hats, berets, mittens. I've learned how to crochet flowers to adorn hats. I've learned some pretty cool blanket edgings. You name it, you can probably find a video for it here.
