Olha, I understand what you're saying, and I agree. In fact, I may end up giving this away since I'm not really much of a lace person myself. I love the look of lace knitting (or is it knitted lace?), though, and wanted to try it.

I'm actually quite astounded at having successfully completed this shawl. But I really have to give credit where credit's due--the designer created a gorgeous pattern with such simple stitches!
