Question about bamboo yarn

I bought 100% bamboo cotton yarn. I love it. It is so soft and sort of feels/looks like ribbon. Question: Is this yarn washable? Could it be used as a facecloth??? Thank you.

Check the directions for washing on the ballband or tag on the yarn.

Yep, always read the ball band. Every yarn is different so it's impossible for us to know.

You can also look it up on Ravelry if the band is in a different language.
