I love this, really just too darn cute. I love you used left over stash, that always makes a project more special to me. The sleeve shape is really fashionable, I would love one of these myself.

These tops are knit all in one piece, starting from the front bottom cast on edge, working up to the neckline 'slit/split' where each side and sleeve are worked separately until the tops of the shoulders, and from there the two sides are joined again and you work down the back to the hem. (the little cap sleeves are also 'built-in' by working increases to create the little cap sleeve in the front, a few rows of plain knitting at the top of the shoulder, and then going down the backside the same number of decreases leaves you with the same number of original stitches)

Here is the location for the pattern. It isn't free. BUT, every design in the e-book is adorable. Hats, tops, pants.
