FO: Slouchy Hat

So, I needed a break from the afghan, and knowing I wouldn't finish it in time anyways, I made this for the fair instead.

It was my first experience knitting in the round, my first experience with cables, and my first experience with double pointed needles. And, all in all, I am quite pleased with it. It is the first of my 'winter set' I am working on, I will mainly use it for ice-skating. Coming soon will be scarf (WIP), legwarmers, and fingerless mittens (or gloves, if I can find a pattern).
I have yet to order my double pointed needles, the ones I used on this project were 'homemade'. No comment.
This is little sis posing for me. It is slightly too large on her, but....
