What type of increase did you use for the M1's, may I ask?
I wasn't exactly sure which increase I was supposed to use, so I just used M1A.

Can someone tell me if that is what I was supposed to do?

Great job! Sometimes I think the best way to learn a new skill (or skills) is to pick a project that you like and learn as you go. Very nice pattern and color choice, too.

Your hat looks gorgeous, and the fact that it was a first attempt at knitting in a round and cables kind of makes it even better. Homemade needles? You don't have to comment but feel free to feel proud that your creativity and resourcefullness goes beyond knitting.

Well done. Especially for a first project in the round.
