Help with cast off edge please!
Hello,

I'm pretty new to knitting and am almost done knitting a small cardigan in stocking stitch. I've done pretty well but am stuck on part of the pattern which says:

'Cast of rem 75sts placing a marker at each side of centre 29 sts to indicate back of neck'

Does this meean I should place a marker at the 24th and 52nd stitch? (I.e, find the middle stitch, count 14 either side and that is where the marker should go?)

Thanks very much for your help!!

Yes, that's the idea. You want the center 29sts set off for the neck so the markers would go between the 23rd and 24th sts and between the 52nd and 53rd sts. You may be going to pick up sts between these markers for the collar band.
