Help with Dropped Last Stitch

Hello - I have searched for help but I cannot find info to fix the problem I have. I am making a face cloth that has a seed stitch border. I accidentally dropped the last stitch on the row before turning work. I am left with a large loop. If I try to knit the stitch and move on, it is too large; definitely missing something. I have done this a couple of time before and have pulled out and started over because I couldn't find out how to fix it. I really don't want to do that again!

I think I saw something once on how to fix this at this point, but don't remember. What I will sometimes do is go back one row or two only and fix the original mistake.
