You're a pretty adventurous knitter...There are some fairly simple shrugs and shawls.

I'll post a couple links tomorrow.

What about mittens? They can be a simple and quick or have a bit of a pattern to them.

You can do mittens on straight needles and seam them up. There should be a few patterns done this way, or you can adapt an in the round pattern to do it.

I'm filling in the gaps between big projects by making sampler squares. I'll eventually join the squares up for throws or pillows or some-such. I've got a suplus of worsted acrylic yarn so I figure I should be able to use the same size needle, stitches and rows to come up with something even if it eventually ends up in the frog pond.

I have several larger projects to work on but waiting for yarn to arrive.

I've seen some of your stuff posted in other threads and you're more experienced than I am at this. I'm using the samplers as a learning thing to master different stitch patterns. And thinking I might come up with something kinda cool... or something completely worthless to anyone but me as a way to learn and practice.

Good luck finding some simple ideas!
