What is Inc 1 and Inc1 ps?

Oh I just found a sheet with the pattern that has definitions for these but the inc 1 says knit into the front and back of the same stitch. The inc 1 ps says Purl into the front and back of the same stitch. Whoa is there a how to video on this that anyone knows of?

Those are usually known as KFB and PFB.

Lol, well how do you know which one to do? I checked but didn't see any that mentioned purling or knitting into front and back of same stitch. I will look more slowly though right now! Thanks!
