I've never heard of tatting being done using crochet hooks. I only know of two ways to tat--using a shuttle and using a needle; I believe the shuttle method is the oldest of the two.
The first dress is the kind of dress I want for my wedding when (or if) I ever get married.
I love all of the other dresses, too.
I wish I could have the patterns for those dresses, at least the first one. I don't think I'll ever find a dress like that one again, even if I tried. It's definitely something I'd like to wear for my wedding whenever that'll be.
