Pattern Help - Increases

I am making this dress (http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/libr...ig-sis-version) in size 3T and I need help.

In places, the designer requires increases but hasn't specified the type of increase. However, there is a section where the type of increase is specified but I'm not exactly sure what is required. This paragraph is for round 6 on the skirt.

Round 6: Knit to marker, slip marker, M1(M1R), knit to marker, M1(M1L), slip marker, knit to marker, slip marker, M1(M1R), knit to marker, M1(M1L), slip marker, knit to end of round.

Where it says "M1(M1R)", do I make one increase or two? My first thought is make one M1R-type increase but I want to be sure (cause I HATE to tink).
