Help Knitting Hat in the Round
So in need of help. I am knitting a hat in the round. I already transfered the pattern from flat knitting to round knitting, but now that I'm trying to do the decreases on the hat, I feel like it is not getting smaller.

This is the pattern.
84 stitches on needles.

Round 1: k1, yo, k1, p2
Round 2: K3, P2
Round 3: k3, p2
Round 4: k3, pass first stitch of stitches just worked over last 2, P2

Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is a mock cable pattern. I love it. I love the way it looks. But I feel like the Round with the yarn over, is the one giving me the trouble.
