Fabulous! Just make sure to take a few pictures before you mail it and post them here so we can see your lovely work! I am very anxious to see how this turns out!

Oh I will take several pictures of this one.
The rest of the directions look similar so I shouldn't have any more trouble, I hope anyway.

This is coming out so much better now that I have a correct comprehension of the directions. It sure does make a difference.

Funny how that works. I've noticed the same thing. I find knitting patterns are simpler to work with than some of the crochet patterns I used. Now you're making it through this, just think of the experience you've gained and all you've learned. Bravo!

If you run into another problem you know you can get more help here.

Ran into another issue.
2 sc, *dc, (sc dc) 8 times, 10 sc, dc, 10 sc repeat from * 5 (other afghans 3) more times, dc (sc dc) 8 times, 2 sc

It seems I'm missing something really simple here. I got the first part of the row instructions but the 2nd part eludes me. I've had to frog it several times because things are not lining up as they should. Where is this 2nd part supposed to go?

Well that is what I thought it meant but when i did it it didn't line up right. Part of it was way off. I'm beginning to think it might be best for me to completely start this one over. That last part was only 11 rows so its not quite that much time lost.
