I need help understanding this

Okay I'm knitting a raglan sweater and help with little part I think goofed up on th is part

Row 1- KFB,SM,KFB, Knit 1 before the next marker repeat beteewn" 2 more times KFB,SM,KFB (8 increases)

I already know what KFB and SM mean it just the the repeat thing

Cause so far I knitted KFB once and I'm on the next row it's just purl the row I think I might have goofed up can anyone help me

When you knit a Raglan you usually increase on both sides of the marker. Did you do that?

So what is it you might have messed up?

Cause I knitted KFB,SM once and the next row you just purl

The whole row is probably:
Row 1- Knit to one before marker, "KFB,SM,KFB, Knit to 1stitch before the next marker repeat between" 2 more times KFB,SM,KFB (8 increases)

You want to increase before and after the marker, as Jan mentioned. This makes the line of raglan increases that you see at each shoulder. The row should have a total of 8 increases when you've finished it.
When a pattern says: repeat between the *, it means go back to the first " and repeat just those steps however many times the pattern calls for. In your pattern that would be KFB, SM, KFB, knit to one stitch before the next marker, repeated twice. Then you go on to the next direction in the row.

It says "KFB,SM,KFB," so you do kfb twice, once before and after the marker. Then knit to the stitch before the next marker and do the same. Keep repeating that as you knit to the end of the row. You will have done kfb 8 times for 8 increased stitches. The next row is a purl row.
